Prepare to be enthralled by the dark enchantment as the Desmond District Demons Film Festival returns to Downtown Port Huron, Michigan, now welcoming submissions from our local and international community of independent filmmakers. With each passing year, this captivating competition of films continues to mesmerize audiences, leaving them spellbound and yearning for more.
Following a challenging hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Desmond District Demons Film Festival emerges once again, breathing new life into the heart of Main Street and fostering a vibrant atmosphere for local businesses. Our return has generated excitement and foot traffic, invigorating the community and reminding us of the enduring power of shared experiences.
During our resurgence, an unexpected incident occurred that caught the attention of both festival-goers and organizers. In a surprising twist, an older couple, seeking a thrilling cinematic experience, found themselves captivated by a truly grotesque masterpiece. Overwhelmed by the intense imagery unfolding on the screen, they made a hasty exit, their hearts racing with shock. This anecdote serves as a testament to the Festival's commitment to pushing the boundaries of fear and delivering unforgettable moments.
Thank you
The return of the festival has been truly fantastic. It’s Reinvigorated our excitement after being unsure if people remembered we existed after the plague.
We can’t wait to see you in 2023 for our sixth season in Downtown Port Huron.
Before I let y’all go I wanted to make sure I give one last big thank you to the people who made this festival possible.
